Are you ready for the island?

Our family-paradise right at the heart of the island of Amrum welcomes you with it’s cosy atmosphere and is the perfect starting point to discover the island’s beautiful nature.

After having enjoyed our house exclusively as a family cabin for many years, we have recently decided to turn the apartment on the ground floor into a vacation home for guests.

For this purpose the unit was fully renovated in 2012 and 2015 with full attention to detail to make it the perfect place for your island getaway.

Besides the rental unit on the ground floor the house also has a second unit on the first floor. This unit is now our own personal and privat retreat and is only used when we have no guests. So you will have the house all to yourself to enjoy your time out on the island.
Since December 2016 we are certified with 4 stars of Deutscher Tourismus Verband.

The apartment perfectly accommodates 2 adults up to a family of four. Since we promote a non-smoking and allergy friendly environment, we kindly ask you not to bring your pet and to step outside should you wish to smoke.

Our cabin is located Westerheide, a forrest near the traditional frisian village of Nebel.

The villages of Norddorf in the north and Wittdün in the south are just a bike ride away and the famous Kniepsand-beach and the stunning dunes invite you to endless walks through the fascinating nature of Amrum. The beach is about 1 km / 0.6 mi away from the house.
